75 pfennig, 50 pfennig and 2 x 25 pfennig notes

This set of emergency money notes were issued in 1921 in the district of Saxony-Anhalt in the village of Osterfeld. It is a tiny village which today numbers some 2,500 residents and covers an area of 27 sq km. In 1921 it would have been considerably smaller and as such very few of these notes would have been printed.

A nice addition to any collection of notgeld tokens from this era and the bank notes themselves have some fascinating artwork which includes “The legend of Castle Vondern”.  The notes are in mint condition and the colours bright and fresh.
