Michael Leunig never fails to delight his readers with the annual release of his calendar through either the Melbourne Age or the Sydney Morning Herald.

Noteworthy Collectibles is always searching for good solid examples to offer to our customers and this one is no exception. Condition is as new but as these were delivered in a local newspaper they did have some dints on one edge and one was dog eared on the lower left corner, shown here. never the less they have never been hung or used and remain in a clean well stored environment.

It may well be that Fairfax Media will eventually decide to no longer release these as they almost did with the 2015 release.

If your going to start a collection of these then there is no better time than now.

Your 2013 calendar is reusable in:
2019, 2030, 2041, 2047, 2058, 2069, 2075, 2086, 2097, and 2109.

History

Quotes by Michael Leunig.

All nations that throw their military weight around, occupying neighboring lands and treating the residents with callous and humiliating disregard, are already sliding towards the dark possibilities in human nature. – Michael Leunig

Over the years, my marks on paper have landed me in all sorts of courts and controversies – I have been comprehensively labelled; anti-this and anti-that, anti-social, anti-football, anti-woman, anti-gay, anti-Semitic, anti-science, anti-republican, anti-American, anti-Australian – to recall just an armful of the antis. – Michael Leunig

Practically every technology that is ever invented is touted as being the new savior, the thing that will bring peace and goodwill to the earth, but immediately it falls into other hands who see it as the opportunity to promote the very opposite. – Michael Leunig

In my journey as a cartoonist, I seem to have accidentally stumbled into all sorts of traps, damnations and blacklists. – Michael Leunig

While the world may feel entitled and have the power to pronounce an individual crazy, are there times when the innocent genius, the insightful individual or just the old grandmother may reasonably declare the world to be mad? Probably, but what hope or happiness would such an individual have? – Michael Leunig
